THE CHRONICLES OF AN AFRICAN GIRL

Emmah Mthembu born and bread in South Africa Johannesburg city however currently living and working in the USA,  the force behind Crystal Customz. They specialize in hand crafted designs made using rhinestone. Crystal Customz works their magic on t-shirts, shoes and any other apparel.
The idea of using crystals started with her liking them on platform heels by Christian Louboutin that were $6000 and she couldn’t afford them. So she thought what if she made them for herself? She did and loved them so she thought of other things the crystal would look beautiful on and then came up the idea of making African maps and flags on t-shirts.
The project is still a new born. It is less than 3 months old. She’s still creating a buzz about it. Potential clients can send her a message on her facebook page.
She made these beautiful shoes, so want my hands on a pair of these:

LEOPARD PRINT’S ARE BACK!

This year the prints came back roaring! It seems to be everywhere from leggings, skirts, dresses, bags and much much more!!!! Personally I am totally falling in love all over again and some designers like Roberto Cavali and Betsey Johnson did too.

A model wears a creation from the Just Cavalli autumn/winter 2012 collection. How hot is this dress!! This is one of those dresses every girl needs.

These are one of my favorite printed heels, how gorgeous are these heels by Betsey Johnson; I love the touch of the black bow.

I for one LOVE leopard prints and could wear them every single day of my life but when wearing prints it’s absolutely necessary to stay on top of the do’s and dont’s:
Do: Have fun with leopard prints and don’t be afraid of them.. Just follow these tips and you’ll be sure to look fab.
Do: Be unique when wearing these prints, there is no need to stayto the basic black and brown effect, be daring and try going for colors!

Don’t: Over dress the prints and try to look like you’re actually a leopard from the wild

Do: Keep it simple with a lil black dress and a to die for pair of printed heels like Kim Kardashian.
We all know leopards also goes very well with bold colors try playing around with it like Beyonce did with her red blazer looking casual, nice!!

Don’t: Use matching animal accessories to highlight an outfit. An animal printed scarf, handbag or shoes look great in isolation but NOT all at the same time ladies.
Do: Clash prints!!! Clashing prints are hot and in for this winter!
